Hello

You're looking well.

I'm Bec, a designer, travel blogger, volunteer and animal-lover with good teeth.

I relish helping businesses and individuals who want to make a smart and considered impression on the world.

Born Aussie, currently masquerading as a Brit, I have creative experience gained in both hemispheres. We're moving back to Brisbane in November 2022, nine winters is enough!

So, how can I help?

Profile: About

Profile

During my 20+ years in design, I have created visual solutions for almost everything. In my current role my experience extends through creative branding for awards programmes and incentive trips, themes for international congresses and company conferences, staging global forums, TED@ events and new product launches. Clients I currently work with include Bristol Myers Squibb, Merck KGaA, Discover, Schlumberger, Santen, Sanofi, Mercedes-Benz, Rentokil Initial, Abbvie, Allergan, Chivas Brothers and Gilead among many others.

I started my career in the world of print and along the way I've branched into design management, social media marketing and website design before embracing a pandemic pivot to crafting and delivering virtual events for international audiences. Lately, my work spans design for live, hybrid and virtual events including print, digital, social media, creative writing, illustration and website design.

I equally enjoy working in-house or in full-service agencies, maintaining the integrity of a client’s corporate identity while producing publications and materials that match the esteem of their subject.

I use Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office applications to deliver projects from the client briefing to final production stages, working to meet or exceed budget and deadline expectations, often in short time frames.

I possess high quality interpersonal skills derived from several years managing team members and stakeholders at various levels of organisational structure and external clients, contacts and suppliers.

Queensland Government:
13 Years  .  8 Departments

Countless projects serving the public

During my long career in the public sector I worked in departments focused on the economy, business, trade and industry development. And I survived three Premiers.

I've produced innumerable pieces for a range of business and policy units from advertising, business start-up kits, magazines, public information materials, annual reports, prospectus documents, awards programs and events, exhibitions, conference items, brochures and flyers...basically, you name it, I did it. And I managed to weather two logo changes and help implement five department re-brands.
